Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain what you can expect when you book a service with WeCanReach and
what we need from you to carry out the work safely and effectively.
By accepting a quotation or asking us to proceed with the work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About WeCanReach
WeCanReach is a trading name of Mersey Property Care Partnership.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to WeCanReach, and “you” and “your”
refer to the person or organisation booking the service.
The agreed service means the work described in your quotation, booking confirmation or other written
agreement with us.
2. Quotations & Scope of Work
We will explain what is included in the service and provide a price before work begins.
The agreed price will normally be the price you pay.
If we discover something that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand and would
significantly change the scope of the work, we will explain the issue and agree any additional work and
cost with you before carrying it out.
If you ask us to carry out additional work while we are at the property, this may be quoted separately.
3. Payment
We are not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to our prices.
For residential customers, payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
For commercial customers, payment terms will be shown on the quotation or invoice or agreed
separately in advance.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or any other payment method agreed with us.
For larger jobs, we may ask for a deposit before work begins. Any deposit requirements will be clearly
explained before the booking is confirmed.
4. Access to the Property
You are responsible for providing reasonable access to the areas included in the agreed service.
If you will not be at the property, please make any necessary arrangements for gates, access points or
other relevant areas to be accessible.
Where reasonably possible, please keep vehicles, garden furniture and other obstacles away from the
immediate working area.
Children and pets should be kept away from the working area while the service is being carried out.
If an area cannot be safely accessed, we may be unable to complete that part of the service. We will
explain this to you and, where relevant, record it in your service report.
5. Appointments & Weather
We will give you an expected arrival time or arrival window and make reasonable efforts to arrive as
arranged.
Occasionally, traffic, delays at an earlier job or other circumstances outside our control may affect the
arrival time. If there is a significant delay, we will let you know where reasonably possible.
Some of our work is weather-dependent. Rain, high winds, snow, ice or other unsafe conditions may
mean that a service needs to be postponed or rescheduled.
Safety takes priority over completing work in unsuitable conditions.
6. Gutter Cleaning & The ClearFlow Method™
Our gutter cleaning service follows the ClearFlow Method™: Inspect → Clear → Verify.
INSPECT
We inspect the accessible gutter runs, outlets and downpipes to identify debris, blockages and visible
issues that may affect drainage.
CLEAR
We remove gutter debris and clear accessible blockages using the most appropriate method for the
property and the condition of the guttering.
Gutter debris removed during the service will normally be taken away as part of the service unless
otherwise agreed.
VERIFY
After cleaning, we check the areas we have worked on wherever reasonably possible to confirm that
they have been properly cleared.
Where a gutter, downpipe or drainage section cannot be safely accessed or properly verified, we will
explain this to you and record it in your ClearFlow Report™.
7. ClearFlow Report™ & Photographs
Before-and-after photographic evidence is included as standard with our gutter cleaning service.
You will receive a ClearFlow Report™ containing photographic evidence of the work, a service summary
and any relevant observations or recommendations.
The report is intended to provide a clear record of the areas inspected, cleaned and verified during the
service.
We may also take photographs or video during the service for inspection, documentation and recordkeeping purposes.
We will not publish photographs or video that clearly identify you personally without your permission.
Property photographs may occasionally be used to demonstrate our work unless you ask us not to do
so.
8. 2-Month ClearFlow Guarantee™
Our gutter cleaning service is backed by our 2-Month ClearFlow Guarantee™.
If a gutter, outlet or downpipe that we cleaned becomes blocked because something was missed during the original service, please let us know. We will return to inspect the problem and, if it relates to the work we carried out, put it right at no extra charge.
The guarantee does not cover blockages or drainage problems caused by:
– new debris entering the guttering after the service, including leaves, seeds, twigs or other material falling from nearby trees;
– moss or other material subsequently falling or washing from the roof into the guttering, particularly where there is significant moss growth on the roof;
– roofing, building or maintenance work carried out after our visit introducing debris into the gutter or drainage system;
– damaged, poorly aligned, incorrectly installed or defective guttering, outlets or downpipes;
a downpipe entering a sealed, inaccessible or underground drainage section that we could not access or verify;
– a blockage or problem in an area that was not included in the original service.
Properties surrounded by trees or with significant roof moss may naturally accumulate new debris quickly, particularly during autumn leaf fall or periods of strong wind and heavy rain. The ClearFlow Guarantee™ therefore covers the quality of the cleaning carried out, rather than new debris entering the system after the service.
Any areas that could not be accessed or verified will be clearly noted in your ClearFlow Report™.
The purpose of the guarantee is simple: if we missed something within the work we agreed to
carry out, we will come back and put it right.
9. Gutter Repair Guarantee
Minor gutter repairs carried out by WeCanReach are normally covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the date of the repair, unless a different guarantee period or condition is stated in writing before the work is carried out.
If the repaired area fails during the guarantee period because of a fault with our workmanship, we will inspect the problem and, where the failure relates to the repair we carried out, put it right at no additional charge.
The guarantee applies only to the specific area repaired and does not cover:
– defects or deterioration elsewhere in the guttering or roofline;
– failure of old, brittle, damaged or deteriorated gutter components;
– movement, distortion or poor alignment of the existing guttering;
– damage caused by storms, falling objects, building movement or other external causes;
– alterations or repairs carried out by another person after our work;
– problems caused by blockages or excessive debris accumulation unrelated to the repair.
Where a repair is temporary in nature, or where the existing condition of the guttering means that a 12-month guarantee would not be appropriate, this will be explained and agreed with you before the repair is carried out.
9. Existing Damage & Property Defects
We take reasonable care when working at your property.
Guttering and roofline components can sometimes be old, brittle, loose, damaged or poorly installed.
Cleaning may also reveal existing defects that were previously hidden by debris or difficult to see from
ground level.
Examples may include leaking joints, loose or broken brackets, poorly aligned gutters, damaged
downpipes, deteriorated seals or defective drainage.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or deterioration that were not caused by our work.
If we identify an issue during the service, we will explain it to you where practical and may include it in
the Notes / Recommendations section of your ClearFlow Report.
If continuing the work could reasonably risk causing damage, we may stop work on the affected area
and discuss the available options with you.
10. Limitations of Inspection
Our gutter inspection is intended to identify visible or reasonably detectable issues within the areas we
can safely inspect.
It is not a structural survey and does not guarantee that every hidden defect within the guttering, roof or
underground drainage system will be identified.
Some sections may be impossible to fully inspect or verify because of the construction of the property,
restricted access, sealed pipework or underground drainage.
Where this materially affects the service, we will make you aware of it.
11. Insurance
We hold Public Liability Insurance for the work we carry out. Evidence of cover can be provided on
request.
We use appropriate equipment and working methods and take reasonable care to protect your property
while carrying out the service.
If accidental damage is caused directly by our work, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can inspect the issue and deal with it appropriately.
12. Problems & Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We would rather have the opportunity to inspect and resolve a genuine problem than leave you
dissatisfied.
Where the issue relates to work we carried out, we will arrange an appropriate solution. Where the issue
falls within the 2-Month ClearFlow Guarantee™, the guarantee terms above will apply.
Photographs or other information about the problem may help us understand what has happened
before arranging a return visit.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
